Owehlangu Trading key strategic objective is the achievement of "zero harm “at our working site. A Site Foremen and management will ensure that safety is not compromised in any circumstances by taking responsibility for employee safety, leading by example, encouraging positive safety behaviour and discouraging negative behaviour. Site Foremen will apply a policy of zero tolerance to non-compliance with safety standards. The company will seek to undergo regular Safety Audits of occupational and non-occupational diseases are referred to external facilities. The manpower Owehlangu Trading is its most valuable resource. To ensure a safe workplace of Owehlangu Trading staff and also to protect clients’ investment and facilities, the company has introduced a strong health and safety culture driven by a goal to achieve “zero accidents” and “zero man-hours lost”. The safety culture has been instilled in all employees of Owehlangu Trading with the conviction that every accident is preventable. The company fully acknowledges that by complying with stringent Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) procedures, zero accidents can be accomplished.
